Vana Chiou is a faculty member in the Department of Geography at the University of the Aegean. She teaches didactics, assessment, and educational psychology. She is co-editor of the book series “Voices from the Classroom” (Waxmann publications). Her published work includes edited volumes, book chapters, and articles in Greek and international journals. She is a postdoctoral researcher focusing on inclusive teaching and assessment practices in mainstream classes and has participated in several national and European projects. Since 2020, she has served as the scientific coordinator for UAegean in four Erasmus+ KA2 projects addressing topics such as active citizenship and inclusive education in diverse educational environments.
